BACKGROUND

Candidates for public office have a special obligation to oppose public expressions of hate. In this election year, Texas Impact calls on candidates for office at all levels of government to condemn language or actions that express antisemitism; Islamophobia; or religious bigotry, and to distance themselves from supporters and donors who endorse or engage in such language or actions.
